The Doan hike will take us right into the heart of the Mournes with one of the best all round views. with gentle gradients and well established paths covering large parts of the walk this is a great hike suitable for those who want to give it a go and see some great sights along the way.

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for the day 

  • Additional Layers and an extra set of dry clothing for wet days

  • Waterproof clothing

  • Suitable Footwear should be worn. Closed top boots with firm soles and good grip 

  • Plenty of water and snacks
